Ode to the Wind

Will a flower so fragrant
Bloom in a ditch this stagnant?
My girl thought it unwholesome
To love me yet I was awesome.

The gap’s only three years.
Why burst me in tears?
Will this relationship
Wither away in friendship?

A question you might
Ask the god to make right.
If it’s not for you, where there is water
For this flower not to falter.

Outside I laugh. I don’t say it loud.
Inside I’m crying, you peahen proud.
When I was up, I could reach everyone.
Now I’m down, I have no one.

A part of me has died;
Including the heart that was tied
To the lady with eyes so bright
Keen to deceive me in broad day light.

It was not the figure I fell
But the heart that dwell
Within you my lady queen
Separated, what are we doing?

Come to me on a lovebird.
For this; money can’t afford.
One of a kind, isn’t this dating?
I’ll be there. Please do return, I am waiting.
